Webfoot Retriever Training Kennel has a variety of Retriever Training drills including; marking, blinds, walk ups, diversions, honoring, force fetch, and swim by. Retriever Training includes boats, duck calls, blank guns, and birds to simulate real Gun Dog situations.

Webfoot Retrievers Gun dog training requires 3-6 months, depending on the individual Gun Dog’s abilities/temperament. A Trained Gun Dog will heel calmly to the blind or boat, remain steady to shot, mark the fall and only after being sent will perform long single or short double retrieves, delivering to heel position and putting the bird in your hand. He will have trained with gunfire and will have retrieved live birds out of a boat and in decoys.
At this point he has graduated and ready to perform basic hunting and compete in the AKC Junior Hunter test.

A Webfoot Retrievers Advanced Gun Dog will remain steady at heel when an unexpected bird flushes as you walk to your blind whether you shoot or not, mark and retrieve multiple falls with diversion birds shot as he returns. Your Advanced Gun Dog will honor another Gun Dog retrieving out of the same blind. Your Advanced Gun Dog will perform Blind retrieves by sitting on whistle and taking hand signals.
